 Nursine S. Jackson has served
as the editor, or has served as a member of the editorial team of
the
LiNC, the official publication of the
Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, for most of the last
decade. Her
publications cover many medical and legal issues, but with a concentration on cardiovascular topics, an area in which she has an
educational foundation as a Master's prepared Cardiovascular Clinic Nurse
Specialist and more than 20 years of clinical experience in this field.
One of her medical-legal publications,
"Failure
to Diagnose Myocardial Infarction: A Case
Study and the Legal Nurse Consultant's Role" has
been used for years as the text in
many legal nurse consultant and paralegal courses nationwide, and her chapter in
Constantino and Crane's Forensic Nursing: Evidence Based Principles and
Practice will, likewise, be used in University-based Forensic Nursing
and Legal Nurse Consulting programs.
